The teargas projectiles were causing quite a ruckus in a free speech zone, some of the die hard Hillary dead enders had made the mistake of mixing it up with a twenty something bunch of Obamacons who were offended when they called their savior “a nigger” in one of their well choreographed chants. Anti-abortion activists prayed and waved signs and rubber fetuses as though to exorcise that fake devil liberalism, some Rapturheads parked a truck outside of Michelle Obama’s hotel with a sign that "Abortion is an Obama nation." The pathological haters on the right have been growingly increasingly desperate and are actually now out huntin’ libruls like that deranged, unemployed fuckhead James Adkisson who opened fire in a Tennessee church – several books by the likes of Bill O’Reilly were later found at his house, there was another loser who just gunned down the chairman of the Arkansas Democratic party. The propaganda is working beautifully, soon we may have organized lynch mobs boppin’ to the beat of that big bopper Rush himself as they take to the streets to rape, murder and pillage in the name of American fascism. They are the strongest possible arguments for abortion that exist outside of the White House.

The crowds were restive, the city was pregnant with fear and loathing, waiting for something very ugly to be birthed. The Blackhawks were on full alert. Alternative radio host Alex Jones and his entourage confronted and shamed neocon Michelle Malkin, calling her out for her support of concentration camps, death to dissidents and trashing free speech as the cunt hissed like a coiled cobra, defending vicious thug marines who reveled in the videotaped murder of puppies. Cindy Sheehan’s hotel room was bugged, I suppose it would have been an insult if it had not been, being on the shit list in Der Heimat is a matter of pride, much like being on Richard Nixon’s enemies list. The new American police state was resplendent as the true face of Amerika was shown to one and all, men in black wielding truncheons, tasers and tear gas canisters enforced a brutal order and it was only day two – a Code Pink protester was brutalized by a Denver cop, order was restored. The terrorist myths are never far beneath the surface, a local McCain campaign outlet received an envelope containing white powder, the reich wing pundits screamed it was anthrax, the tests proved negative. It was only samples of Metamucil.

Hillary herself spoke on Tuesday night, speaking of unity but the damage had already been done, the feminazis would willingly go down in a blaze of glory, supporting the Republican McCain, his dick smoking right-hand man Lindsey Graham and that filthy little Zionist operative Joseph Lieberman who will surely pack the Supreme Court with ideological clones to Tony Scalia and little Scalito who will once and for all turn back the clock on whatever social progress remains after the Bush-Cheney junta is smoked out of power. While the rejected queen preached coming together was there a little smirk that I noticed and then went away faster than the infamous Janet Jackson pierced nipple? I don’t have TIVO but with the shank already implanted to the hilt in Barrack’s back and the domain name for Hillary2012 already secured Mrs. Clinton can slime away from the house of shit before it collapses upon itself.

On Thursday, in a new chapter in Denver sports stadium history the anointed one will mount the stage in Invesco Field, another example of the hostile corporate takeover of America is this disgusting proclivity to sell naming rights to taxpayer funded sports facilities. Mile High Stadium, the storied venue that hosted the world champion John Elway Broncos, Lyle Alzado vs. Muhammad Ali, Bruce Springsteen, U2’s Zoo TV and the Pope had nothing on this. It will be as though the spirit of Leni Riefenstahl will again been conjured up by the yuppie idolmakers huddled around a Ouija board at after hours pizza and beer parties for another chance after being rudely finger-fucked in the ass by Republicans for so long, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned you know. Especially one who idolized Adolf Hitler a vicious bastard who as a dysfunctional rumored queer had more in common with the modern day sodomite cabal luminaries who have congregated around fascist Republicanism as though they were horseflies circling a bucket of fresh shit.

Being raised in Denver I had many memories of the old Mile High Stadium, a rusted out dump that leaked piss from the pipes into the already watered down Coors beer that was being sold by the vendors and that shook like a fucking earthquake during each and every John Elway led drive, courtesy of the stomping feet of tens of thousands. I remember fondly the great Broncos comeback over the Warren Moon led Houston Oilers in the NFL playoffs, the rise of the 1976-77 Orange Crush Broncos who finally shook free of fifteen years of jokes and mediocrity to beat the hated John Madden led Oakland Raiders in the AFC Championship game only to be trounced by the far more talented and flashy Dallas Cowboys.

I remember less fondly the Denver Bears baseball teams who used to pass out free tickets in Coke and Pepsi cartons only to have 60,000 (half of them piss drunk and mean) Mexicans who roamed the upper decks beating up honkies, or the day when high on grain alcohol jungle juice and blotter acid I passed out well before Ted Nugent took the stage in 1979 or when my old friend who I only knew as ‘Buzz’ fell down at least fifty rows after getting drunk on Mad Dog 20-20 and then pissed himself as a disgusted pack of Cub Scouts walked around him. In an interesting footnote “Buzz” was one of the most irresponsible rebels without clue that I have ever known (and in my nearly fifty years on Planet Shit I have known many) and one of the first, during our junior year in high school he undertook the fool’s quest of trying to see how many consecutive red traffic lights that he could run in his 74 Charger. He would gleefully chortle every time he made one more and the streak officially ended at something like 79 or 80 but memory fails me now. Pushing his luck, perhaps an omen to a young man of my age of the same sort of reckless, brain-dead fanaticism that has had the entire fucking country engaged in running red lights for so long that whenever our number comes up once and for all – and it will be very soon – there is going to be one hell of a ticket that needs to be paid.

The Democratic party is now on something like red light 77 and nothing that the great Obama can do is going to prevent it. The failure to actually challenge the real problems of the warfare state and the system of looter capitalism itself have charted a course for a November defeat against a babbling jackass of an elitist war freak, a man who made propaganda commercials for the communists while receiving favorable treatment in that Vietnamese concentration camp that he invokes whenever any real questions happen to be asked of him, an accomplice in the Keating Five financial corruption scandal, an adulterer who dumped his dutiful wife why stayed married to him during his stay at the Hanoi Hilton to marry into a beer queen’s fortune and now is so fucking fat and happy that he doesn’t even know how many houses he has, a serial flip-flopper with alleged mob ties and a self admitted “war criminal” – all while a Republican party that should be eradicated from the face of the planet like slicing off a festering boil on my ass will continue to survive against all odds despite a colossal history of failure, fascism and demagoguery of the most vile sort. Of course the system is off limits, the high rollers and their big con can continue to go on, any doubters or naysayers only need to look at the selection of Mr. MBNA Joe Biden for the most powerful office in the western world. The Senator from the ‘Usury State’ is a longtime benefactor of the credit card industry that has Americans in debt slavery with no chance at getting the key to the shackles with an incoming Obama administration (if it defeats history and the odds) because Biden was a key backer of that nasty little piece of work that stripped away bankruptcy protection for average Americans. Think how many fewer foreclosures would be happening right now if people were able to jettison their unsecured debt in order to concentrate on keeping the roofs over their heads despite how overpriced said roof is.

No, the Democrats are just flip sides of the same corrupt coin. As my Marxist buddy recently commented so accurately:

The crowds in their glazed-eye fanaticism and fealty to the new Jesus (just a ringer and a new face for the empire) conjured up memories of the same sort of true believers who turned out en-masse for the 2004 New York City coronation of American Fascism that was the GOP convention of George W. Bush, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Zell Miller where the shrill denunciations of liberal and traditional American values were only drowned out by the constant invocations of 9/11. “Change” is 2008’s “9/11” But fanaticism is fanaticism and it is dangerous whether it is ‘liberal’, ‘conservative’ or the bizarro brand of both that exists in America today, a strange genetically spliced brand of incestuous bestial fuckery – think of it as being the middle person in a three-way buttfuck sandwiched between a horny snorting jackass and a fetidly stank and dirty unwashed elephant. Blind faith is exactly that.

I remember an old buddy named Rob, a hippie idealist druggie who bought just enough into the sixties to have felt anally raped when it all fell apart and who turned in his later years to smoking crack and listening to Rush Limbaugh used to put it like this in all of his bitter cynicism, “Life, Work and Shit are all Four Letter Words” – today in the ongoing circus maximus, that provides the comfort food for the sewer of the post-9/11 American mind I could elaborate on the old stoner sage’s words of wisdom by adding yet another four letter word to the list: HOPE. Rob in the early 90’s, a fellow victim of Reaganomics was sucked in by the siren song of the grand poopah of white populist propaganda who were looking for scapegoats as well as the blessing of their instinctive hatreds as though they were allowed to frolic naked in a mass rutting festival in the waters of Lourdes but for some reason this crowd that had descended upon the Mile High City like locusts were to me some sort of perverted, through-the-looking glass mirror image of their more easily duped brethren the dittoheads.

I don’t know exactly how to describe my feelings other than some sort of a visceral and primal urge to simultaneously defecate, vomit and masturbate – it was fucking surreal, bizarre and loathsome to the most basic and prehistoric levels of human nature.

‘Real Change’, just like ‘Compassionate Conservatism’ you see is just another of those famous two-word phrases that mean the same thing as BULL SHIT..

The War's Over Rambo: We Lost

Rarely a column (especially one in an establishment shitrag like the Washington Post) is able to completely sum up a decades running American tragedy that has led to 2008’s march of the lemmings into the abyss like Harold Meyerson’s Why Were We In Vietnam? This piece in and of itself should be an essential part of the arsenal when it comes to the inevitable re-fighting of the Vietnam war that is going to go live soon as a key part of the upcoming presidential campaign. The Vietnam war, always just below the surface of the American subconscious (although a good amount of the population hadn’t even been fucking born when the choppers lifted of that embassy roof for the last time) like a trailside booby trap just waiting to be tripped anew by a ruthless post-Nixon political party of perverts, jackals, thieves, looters and thugs and their billion dollar propaganda machine. This piece is stunning in pointing out that ugly elephant in the middle of the room that is the pursuit of Vietnam as the latest destination in the off-shoring exodus, it seems like the availability of ever cheaper labor, the crack cocaine to Wall Street parasites and traitors is very alluring in the former Indochina.

Why Were We In Vietnam?

Doing business in China is beginning to cost real money. Not that Chinese workers are buying second homes or anything like that: Their average wage is still a little short of a dollar an hour. But so many Chinese have now left their villages for the factories that the once bottomless pool of new young workers is beginning to run dry, and the wages of assembly-line employees are rising 10 percent a year.

Worse yet, new labor laws are making it harder for employers to cheat their workers out of their wages and benefits. Many American businesses that do their manufacturing in China had warned against those laws; the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai had flatly opposed them. But the good old days of Maoist labor discipline, when the government could send tens of millions of skilled workers down to the farms to be toughened up and periodically tortured, are gone. Mao's heirs, though not above a touch of torture here and there just to keep the system humming along, are concerned, as he was not, with achieving social harmony, even if that means compelling employers to sign, and honor, contracts with their employees.

Confronted with such appalling squishiness, what's a good, cost-cutting American business to do? Many are fleeing south of the border -- not our border (Mexico costs way too much) but China's.

They're bound for Vietnam.

According to a report by Keith Bradsher in the New York Times last month, such multinational companies as Canon (the printer and copier maker) and Hanesbrands (the North Carolina-based underwear empire) are expanding or building factories in Hanoi, where they churn out products for Wal-Mart and other American retailers. Foreign direct investment in Vietnam increased 136 percent between 2006 and 2007, while it increased just 14 percent in China.

The reason for the move south is straightforward: Vietnamese factory workers make about a quarter of what their Chinese counterparts earn.

But why Vietnam and not, say, Thailand, where labor is similarly cheap?

Vietnam's edge, it seems, is political. "Communism means more stability," Laurence Shu, the chief financial officer of Shanghai-based Texhong, one of the world's leading manufacturers of cotton fabrics, told Bradsher. This view, Bradsher reports, is common among Asian executives and some American executives, too, though they have the presence of mind never to say so on the record. After all, Vietnam, like China, outlaws independent unions. Absent free speech and free elections, no radical shifts in the government's economic policies are likely to be sprung upon unsuspecting American businesses.

Now, far be it from me to begrudge the Vietnamese their moment in the sun before global capital finds them too costly and moves on to Bangladesh and Somalia. But didn't we fight a war to keep Vietnam from going communist? Something like 58,000 American deaths, right? And now American business actually prefers investing in communist Vietnam over, say, the more or less democratic Philippines? In all likelihood, it would prefer investing in communist Vietnam to investing in a more chaotic, less disciplined democratic Vietnam, if such existed.

Let's imagine, just as an exercise, that we're trying to explain this to those 58,000 Americans and their loved ones. We could argue that by investing in communist countries, we're pushing them toward democracy. But everything we know about China suggests that, in reality, such investments merely make authoritarian regimes stronger. We could argue that what we're really doing is bringing communist nations into the world capitalist system. Then again, the effect of bringing into the global labor pool hundreds of millions of low-wage workers -- people whose wages are held in check by both capital mobility and communist repression -- is to hold down wages in democratic nations with advanced economies and with no national strategy to preserve and expand good jobs at home (i.e., in the United States).

Or we could argue that our onetime opposition to communism was noble and all that but that, unburdened by the illusions of the past, American business, backed by the American government, has realized that the problem with communism wasn't that it was undemocratic but that it was anti-capitalist. And that once communism was integrated into a world capitalist system, its antipathy toward democracy not only wouldn't be a bad thing but would actually be good. That is clearly the political logic that underpins our involvement with China. It's a little dicier to say this about our growing involvement with Vietnam, since all those Americans whose names are on that wall on the Mall probably didn't realize how compatible with global American enterprise Vietnamese communism would turn out to be or how the cause of democracy would turn out to have been of no real importance at all.

I guess a note from the American establishment to those men and women with their names on the Wall would be in order. Something like: Say, guys -- sorry 'bout that!

Maybe the Vietnamese can now start manufacturing those crappy little flag pins that have so cheapened the concept of patriotism, they are nothing but merkins (a pubic wig, originally worn by prostitutes after shaving their genitalia to eliminate lice or disguise the marks of syphilis) anyway, displayed upon increasingly empty vessels who shamble about in a fog of fear and jingoism even as they are herded towards the network of fences that end at the shoot where the pneumatic air hammer stuns them in preparation of the slaughter. The ‘gooks’ can even take away the American flag business from China now that it is no longer a cost effective destination for labor arbitrage.

With ‘free trade’ that the flip-flopping charlatan John Sidney McCain III has just spent the better part of a week sliming his way through Latin America promoting as a shill for the rapacious, anti-American strain of virulent looter capitalism (how could you ever expect anything less from an elitist who owns EIGHT houses) that has cut a swath of economic destruction through Der Homeland it would seem that the issue of using Vietnam as the latest destination for exported American jobs while cloaking himself in the immunity of some sort of phony war hero is more than a tad hypocritical.

When and if those ludicrous public relations gimmicks used by McCain actually allow anyone other than another adoring sycophantic war freak to ask questions the ‘maverick’ should be called out on this but it of course he won’t be, it is just too dangerous to the entire bogus Vietnam storyline that has been constructed around the self-admitted war criminal. For all of his paeans to the moneychangers to even acknowledge that America has now sought out Nam as the latest and greatest Mecca for labor arbitrage would be as if he himself were to walk up to that black granite wall, whip out his dick and piss all over those names that are carved into it.

Not only are we prepared to export jobs en-masse to Vietnam but the ongoing cynical invocation of that goddamned fucking war has been used as a cudgel to brutally beat into submission those who were suckered into accepting all of that hogwash about the American Dream at face value only to see their pockets picked and their bank accounts sucked dry by those who cashed in on the four decade tragedy of fighting and re-fighting it, like some acid and viscera drenched version of the movie Groundhog Day. Manchurian McCain and the fascist Republican party will escalate the fighting in Vietnam in the next few months, count on it! The carpet bombing runs are already being planned, the napalm pods polished with loving care, the effigies of Hanoi Jane to be burned slowly stitched together.

The Republican Tet Offensive is coming and coming soon and their pimping of the ongoing revisionist history of the war that the hippies and liberals didn’t let us win, the horseshit of spitting on the troops and the media blame game are all going to spring this bouncing betty one more time for their war criminal candidate and free trader McCain, a man whose only ‘qualification’ for the job is his phony Vietnam narrative.

And once again the Democrats will be true to form, they will capitulate, dissemble, plant big wet, sloppy kisses on McCain’s mangy ass, triangulate, cower and likely even in some cases even contemplate fleeing to Canada to avoid the war rather than fight in what to them has been a lost cause ever since they allowed themselves to be labeled as the party of “acid, amnesty and abortion” and allowed George McGovern to be defined as some sort of anti-American pinko even though history has proven that he was right..

Denver, CO – At the main entrance to Denver International Airport there is a towering statue of a blue fiberglass bronco with blazing eyes. Mustang is the closest thing to a horse from Hell that I have personally ever seen and the fucker is eerily disturbing on a very basic level. It pops up visibly from miles away as you drive into that massive airport that is closer to the fucking Kansas state line than the Mile High City like some primitive warning to ward off warring tribes, very primal. The story behind the damned thing apparently is more than somewhat macabre as it fell upon the sculptor one Luis Jiminez, killing him prior to being finished which to the more superstitious amongst us is in and of itself enough to send chills up the spine and make the roots of hair follicles tingle. The brutal irony of this monstrosity guarding DIA with the coming war for the future of the Democratic party at the Denver convention this August is absolutely delicious. That Denver International Airport is an ill-planned abortion that somehow despite its marketing as essential for the future the planners never even considered the concept of $4 a gallon gasoline (which is one day going to evoke nostalgia about the good old days) and the effects on a local population that is spread out from Colorado Springs to damned near Fort Collins but the geniuses responsible for societal planning and engineering normally can’t be troubled with such silly pessimistic projections when there is money to be made. Former Denver Mayor and Bill Clinton cabinet member Federico Peña was sure to take care of his buddies on that one. But in giving credit where it is due it's a damned good place if you are facing a layover, a fuck of a lot better than a lot of other airports.

The ironic thing about Mustang the metallic blue steed from Hades is that it tragically was responsible for the death of it’s creator (albeit accidentally) and the blazing shitstorm of an avenging army of Hillary Rodham-Clinton’s crusaders threaten to similarly topple the giant blue iconic jackass of the Democratic party. Crushing it to death like some deranged and blinded by rage feminist Frankenstein that has after being instrumental in transforming the party from a labor based bastion of middle class fairness into some sort of a hijacked craft turned into a missile of death along which they and the myriad of other bitchy, self-centered special interest groups that have been used to make political hay by a merciless Republican juggernaut. The GOP has largely run every election of the past three decades against Hanoi Jane, the party millstone of Roe v. Wade (the unconditional support of which in my opinion and this is going to get me fucking eviscerated here – needs to be rethought as it is a strategic disaster), socially deviant ‘America hating’ liberals who want to murder babies and sacrifice God on the altar of sexual perversion as exemplified by the great monolithic conspiracy of the damned evil homosexual agenda. The city of Denver is going to be the place where Gog throws down with Magog in a few months and the forces of the drooling Succubus Clinton are hellbent on waging a scorched Earth campaign that will likely leave “Mustang” in the rear view mirrors of their rental cars after the convention as a flaming pillar of salt.

They are continuing to foment divisiveness and bleat that poor little rich bitch Hillary has unfairly been discriminated against by the woman hating bully boys in America, this comes as the ultimate in black comedy (no pun intended) with the Clinton forces and their pick up drivin’ Rush Limbaugh lovin’ temps are doing everything but screaming ‘Dirty Militant Niggers’ at Barack Obama and his wife Michelle. It’s all the 60’s dynamic again, that is all that politics in time warp America has become. Get ready for another round of battles in the Vietnam war because baby burning war criminal McCain is already getting ready to roll out Operation Arc Light II once the Clinton piranhas have feasted on Obama for a few more months.

The latest ridiculous sideshow about Obama quitting his church is another log on the fires of the racial and religious bonfires that are being stoked by the Dixiecrat Clintons.

How in good conscious could ANYBODY or any GROUP who has been so consistently vilified for fun and profit by the fetid pied piper of faux white male populist propaganda fucking seriously even think about accepting assistance from he or his jagoff angry army? Come November when Operation Chaos has been successfully completed and the Republicans are able to do what was once thought of as not only inconceivable but impossible in staving off a landslide loss I would seriously like to hear some of the ladies who are buying into this bullshit explain with a straight face exactly what the FUCK they were thinking about.

Things really CAN change if the politics of the 60’s are rejected and by default the only candidate with a legitimate chance of pulling it off and building that bridge to the future is Barack Obama, no matter how flawed that he is. Look, it’s not as if there isn’t misogyny in this society, there should be no illusions about that but Hillary is hustling American women and feminists with an amoral intent and fully understanding that she is taking advantage of a legitimate desire to see a woman president in this sordid shithole of lies and revisionist history written to obscure all the discrimination, fear, murder and ugliness of the past. The bitter and recalcitrant Hillary Rodham-Clinton’s whopping 43 percent win in the West Virginia primary despite the category 5 spin doesn’t mean jack fucking shit. Consider that the mountaineer state’s demographics, the sort of folks that Clinton aide Mickey Kantor so eloquently refers to as “white niggers” are a fucking master race compared to the denizens of peckerwood nation down south of the Mason-Dixon Line. These hard-workin’ (when they are able to find jobs that haven’t been offshored) white voters are as easily duped with allegations of secret Muslim conspiracies, anti-Americanism by a ‘darky’ who refuses to wear a flag pin or hold his hand over his heart during the ridiculous fucking Stalinist pledge of allegiance and actually gives a rat’s ass about economic conditions in such capitalist desecrated shit holes like West Virginia rather than engage in laying stink bait about guns, gays and God. This is Clinton Country and could be the capital of the New Dixiecrats that Hillary is running hard to be the queen of. The ultimate statement on the sort of demographic that the Clintons curried such favor with is exemplified by famous figures such as Lynndie England and the rest of the Class of Abu Ghraib Prison who no doubt were heroic figures to many of the backwoods, barefoot hicks who prowl the Appalachians huntin' for varmint to eat.

The Clinton spinners, surrogates, Hillemmings and morons on loan from Rush Limbaugh will roar into Kentucky to score another massive ‘win’ with a similar demographic and then keep moving the goalposts all the closer to that crucial Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting on at the end of May. In perhaps one of the most nauseous displays of pandering and disingenuousness that I have ever personally seen (and in these fucked times that speaks volumes) Clinton hack Terry McAuliffe took to the Sunday morning bloviation circuit with his magnum opus of flim-flamming and ass kissing taking place on Tim Russert’s ‘Press The Meat’. McAuliffe spun, contradicted, dissembled, shamelessly kept invoking Russert’s beloved dad ‘Big Russ’ and in an amusing moment had the tables turned on him when his own words were turned on him while trying to make a case to steal all of the Florida and Michigan delegates. Russert (redeeming himself in a very small way for devoting a full 20 minutes of a recent Obama interview to ridiculous questions on the Reverend Wright ‘controversy’) sprung a passage from McAuliffe’s own book on him.

MR. RUSSERT: A change. Also, Hillary Clinton, back in October, said, "You know, it's clear, this election they're having [in Michigan] is not going to count for anything." Now, it's counting for a lot.

I turn to the bible, "What a Party," Terry McAuliffe.

MR. McAULIFFE: Good man, good man.

They'll "`not get a credential. The closest'" thing you'll "`get to Boston,'" the convention city, "`will be watching it on television. I will not let you break this entire nominating process for one state. The rules are the rules.'"

MR. McAULIFFE: Yep.

MR. RUSSERT: Chairman McAuliffe.

MR. McAULIFFE: You bet.

MR. RUSSERT: So now, Chairman Dean is saying the rules are the rules.

MR. McAULIFFE: Yeah.

MR. RUSSERT: Michigan broke them, they're not going to be seated. Maybe they'll get half. Would you accept that?

MR. McAULIFFE: Well, first of all, that's now out in paperback, I want you to know. But second, I would say the rule is 50 percent. That's the point I'd like to make. I had the right, the party, to take away 50 percent. The party took away 100 percent of the delegates. The rule is 50 percent. Had they only taken away 50 percent like the Republican Party did, Tim, you and I would not be having this conversation today.

MR. RUSSERT: So you would accept that as a compromise, half the Michigan and half the Florida delegates?

MR. McAULIFFE: We certainly might, you bet. But in fairness, the Rules and Bylaws Committee will meet on, on the 31st to make that decision. The issue is 50 percent. They took away 100 percent. He can't deny that a million-75 people showed up in Florida and 600,000 showed up in Michigan. They voted, they were certified by the county and the state. These people voted. We have to win these two states in, in the general election. It's important, Michigan and Florida.

MR. RUSSERT: But you'd take half.

MR. McAULIFFE: Well, I'll--we'll let the Rules and Bylaws, it's up to them to make that decision. But the rule is 50 percent. Had they done 50 percent, Tim, you and I wouldn't have this conversation today. They took away 100 percent.

It was the best thing I’ve seen on that silly assed beltway elitist’s show since Senator Jim Webb smacked down that little dicksmoker and John McCain butt-buddy Lindsay Graham last year. Gas is at 4 bucks a gallon, food prices are spiking and the masses of asses insist on fighting vicious wars of attrition over bullshit cultural and racial wedge issues while the country is looted and sold off to foreigners for pennies on the dollar. Then again the white picket fence world of idyllic nostalgia that never really existed outside of 1950’s propaganda television shows touting the nuclear family and nonexistent virtues is still the world that most of the indolent bitter white folk like to imagine as they cling to their guns and religious malarkey. Whitey is losing and losing precisely because of the ignoramuses who remain enshrouded in their warm and cozy impenetrable cocoons of denial.

A few years back I had a perfect example of why this once great country is now circling the drain delivered directly to my front door. If you love Chinese food you have to truly appreciate the difference between the great discovery of that rare really great ‘takee-outee’ emporium of great Chinese food and the slop that passes for it.The Chinese owners of the restaurant who had owned it for years through which the consistency was absolutely impeccable for a non standardized chain eatery and who were able to deliver the freshest, hottest, most tasty and authentic heaping portions of egg foo yung, pork fried rice, moo goo gai pan, szechuan beef and lo mein while making enough of a profit to remain in business suddenly sold out without warning. Well much to my dismay the product that was delivered by the new white boy ownership was about as edible as something dug out of a fucking dumpster.

The rise in gas prices to the 3 dollar a gallon level likely drove them to do it and they had to be laughing all of the way to the bank. In addition to being great cooks they were shrewd business people and understood that profit margins running primarily a delivery based restaurant were going to be dropping like Newton’s Law Of Gravity before too much long. Enter some white chumps with money looking to buy up a successful business and the goodwill that came with it. Of course the quality immediately went straight to hell, the portions shrunk and the prices went up.

You see, with ‘whitey’ and his great free market capitalist ideals the emphasis is never on quality, only profits. The restaurant was be out of business by the end of the year, ironically it is the year of the Dog according to the Chinese calendar. It is was the only white meat that ‘whitey’ would have been able to make a profit on by that time with soaring gas prices and a declining customer base. The Chinese were smart, once again they beat whitey at his own game. They sold for peak profit at the exact time that their operating costs made it impossible to continue to produce their product in the same manner that had guaranteed their success, and capitalist whitey was left holding a flaming bag of dogshit once again and of course the bag was manufactured in China.

I never personally envisioned that the 21st Century would be one of regression because we are getting far closer to the Flintstones than to the Jetsons in Der Heimat.

Death squad victims sacrificed for the glory of our God kissed empire

The latest wave of the ‘kitchen sink’ smear campaign being conducted by both the Clintons and the fascist Republican party against insurgent presidential candidate Barack Obama continues to push the storyline that he is some sort of anti-American brown skinned devil out to infiltrate and conquer this rotten carcass of a once great republic from within. The latest tit for tat bellying up to the Texas Hold Em table to throw down out the racial trump card of the brown menace calls into question the hellfire and brimstone sermons of the former leader of Mr. Obama’s church the Reverend Jeremiah Wright (although the silence of condemnation of the far more virulent radical cleric John Hagee is still deafening outside of a segment last week on Bill Moyers Journal that scared the living shit out of me.) but such is life on the sheep ranch. Obama of course was forced to disassociate himself from Wright but what the fuck while McCain still practically performs fellatio by proxy on Hagee but when it all comes down to it it’s always all about the Jews isn’t it? We certainly don’t want to offend the watchdogs of empire who are duped under false pretenses to be a forward operating base for western interests in oil rich lands but let’s leave that for another time.

Reverend Wright's pronouncement that "God Damn America" is that wonderful little bumper sticker slogan that is going to go over so well with the ignorant and indolent pet lemmings who cling to the big lie of their sham democracy that serves as a facade for the empire and will be the rallying cry for the coming pitched battle against the hated liberal America haters who want to destroy us for our sanctified and glorious way of life.

Wright’s sermons were scrutinized by oppo researchers in order to extract those comments that were the most inflammatory to the clueless dopes who are used to getting their news (at least when it doesn’t involve celebrities and tabloid sleaze) in small sound byte snippets lacking any sort of context and packaged for the most emotionally charged impact. This is one of the ones that was invoked against Obama because it dared to defile that holiest day in American history September 11th 2001:

“We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York, and we never batted an eye,” Wright says. “We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is brought right back in our own front yards.”

Right the fuck on, just keep preaching brother! Nothing stings quite so much as the truth to a land full of ignorant simpletons with their heads filled with Pollyanna, Horatio Alger and John Wayne as the basis for their perceptions of those things which even the average moron in any other country is able to conceptualize without much difficulty.

Preach it Brother Wright! I am fucking down with it all and if there is anything that I find that can be criticized it is that he doesn’t go nearly far enough. 9/11 if you believe the official story (and I have my doubts) is put quite simply blowback which according to the official definition is “an unforeseen and unwanted effect, result, or set of repercussions”. Chalmers Johnson wrote of his in his book of the same title and only in a land of naïve simpering fools could the concept that our meddling and plundering abroad be without consequence. Ron Paul also caught holy hell for saying basically the same thing before he was taken down by an organized smear campaign painting him as (what else?) an anti-Semitic neo Nazi although nothing quite approaches the broiling outrage of Ward Churchill’s now infamous essay Some People Push Back.

The always eager to please mockingbird Howard Kurtz whose Media Notes column in the Washington Post is always used to throw out right-wing talking points signaled what is to come when on Friday he noted:

The Ferraro flap is about to be overtaken by another racially charged controversy. Fox News has obtained video of Obama's pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, saying some pretty inflammatory things. Wright actually suggests that the government created the HIV virus. Plus:

"Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people. Hillary would never know that. Hillary ain't never been called a [N-word] . . .

"Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill has been good to us. No he ain't! Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty."

And in a column, Wright wrote: "White America got a wake-up call after 9/11/01." White America?

An Obama spokesman put out a statement decrying such personal attacks, but that may not be enough. Wright is not just the pastor of Obama's church but a family friend who presided over the senator's wedding.

You know that the establishment is trying to push a storyline when Mr. Kurtz is used as a mouthpiece, he after all played an integral part in the concerted and cowardly taking down of journalist Gary Webb of the San Jose Mercury News over his Dark Alliance series on the embarassing CIA-Contra connections to the crack cocaine epidemic and Howie can always be counted on to be a reliable house propagandist at what has now become the mighty Wurlitzer of the Washington elite and runs only slightly center left of the Reverend Sun Myung Moon's shitrag Washington Times.

The Reverend Wright smearing is just the latest piece of evidence in the case being built by the oligarchy, the militarists and the looters to tear down Obama who is a fly in the ointment of the win-win scenario that had already been set up with a McCain-Clinton head to head matchup in November. The whisper campaign about the Muslim thing, the refusal to put his hand over his heart during the national anthem, pledge of allegiance or whatever Stalinist bullshit the propagandists are talking about, the pandering to the Cold Warriors by saying that he would negotiate with Cuba (can’t we fucking EVER get over that Bay of Pigs thing?), the Louis Farrakhan connection, the manipulated comments by Michelle Obama over her outrageous lack of pride in this monstrous empire, the veiled accusations of anti-Semitism and all the rest of the saturation bombing that will ultimately culminate in either another rigged election or god forbid, an actual taking out of Obama if all else fails.

Think that is extreme? The American sheeple have very short memories in TV nation and the last four leaders with true crossover appeal and the ability to unite against the malevolent forces born out of the ashes of World War II to seize control of this country all were snuffed in the Sixties. While modern technology along with the slow and intentional dumbing down of the populace make it far easier to perform hits through a complicit and corrupt media the rise of the internet is allowing too many to escape the wide net cast to catch the fish and suckers and more traditional although messier and less sophisticated methods may have to be used if the sliming fails and the superdelegates can’t be bought off. Personally I think that an invocation of martial law and a calling off of the elections is no longer feasible, too many people are on to the game now and it would more likely than not set off a full scale revolution which given the inability of our fine military and hordes of mercenary 'contractors' to get control of Iraq would be doomed to fail if attempted domestically.

But I digress…

Rather than buy into the demagoguery and media spin swirling around this latest foul example of the sinister past and present associates of Mr. Obama those who are in the know should see this latest act of desperation as exactly what it is – an opportunity! Let’s face it, this is an information war, a guerilla war for capturing the hearts and minds of enough Americans who can still be unplugged from the Matrix before they have become addicts to the blue pill and the use of the Reverend Wright’s sermons should be pounced on to launch a salvo while the deflector shields have been temporarily disabled. Any truly savvy activist or patriot would catch a ride on the big wave of toxic sewage to get out there and not so much defend the Reverend’s right to free speech but to but his comments in context. Let’s face it, the man speaks many truths and if there is such a thing as God then may he/she/it render an appropriate judgment on the actions of this filthy empire of blood and murder and when the cumulative actions are weighed then damnation is will be in order for there to be justice.

The main thing that I am really trying to get at here is that everything that we as citizens are told about this country and our history is one giant fucking lie and the only thing that differentiates us from any other imperial power is that at least they are honest about what they are. The naïve, flag swaddled fools awash in their television and cinema fantasies of an always just and righteous nation making the world safe for ‘democracy’ will just never be able to get past the gigantic mindfuck that is the truth and that America’s actions in colonizing the planet, stealing resources and propping up corrupt despots results in blowback. Just look at our former boy Charles Taylor of Liberia whose trial is a glimpse into the darkest recesses of human cruelty and barbarity. I excerpt this statement from a story about the account of a witness at Taylor's war crimes trial about how he condoned cannibalism as a regular practice:

Prodded under cross-examination by defense lawyer Courtenay Griffith, Marzah gave a sometimes-graphic description of cannibalism that altered between the ritual taking of vengeance and the practical need for food.

With friends like that you have to wonder just what gave the evil criminals who concoct our foreign policy such a hard on for a rank amateur punk like Saddam Hussein. Taylor would order his ‘fighters’ to split the bellies of pregnant women with machetes and disembowel victims so as to string their intestines out just to prove a fucking point or send a message. The despotic pig Taylor is also a good buddy of Republican Pat Robertson, the notorious big time televangelist and self-proclaimed man of God who didn’t let any of that fine 'Christian' butchery get in the way of their lucrative business deals.

They (being everybody who isn't white and Christian) definitely fucking hate us but they fucking hate us for a reason, unfortunately anything resembling rational thought or reason is not something that can be expected from a nation of simpletons indoctrinated from their earliest stages of cognition to pledge allegiance to the flag, sing the star spangled banner and worship Rambo and John Wayne as heroes. Jingoism and the seeds of raw nationalism are planted early and intentionally when the tabula rasa’s of the youth are still largely empty and awaiting the blood dripping quill to inscribe the great myths of God, country, capitalism and patriotism that will always be embedded in the subconscious. This is why the burning of the flag elicits such strong emotions while very few would give a rat’s ass about the desecration of the Bill of Rights. And we are taught to hate, and to dehumanize and to justify savagery against the brown skinned people whose lives are in the words of the iconic conservative Thomas Hobbes "solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short". How dare anybody question the great myth of our great American exceptionalism and moral purity when it comes to dispensing with the savages?

Setting aside our current descent into a lawless, immoral, poverty ridden torture state as well as the grotesque crimes against humanity being perpetrated on the Iraqi people it is important to understand the root of evil that is the Central Intelligence Agency that was put together by the American capitalist elite in the aftermath of World War II to act as a Gestapo for Wall Street and business interests not confined to the spheres of legality. I would like to make reference to a great piece that my good buddy from Texas Len Hart, a damned fine American posted at his blog The Existentialist Cowboy that summarizes this much better than I could ever hope to do in a well documented story How the CIA Created a Ruling, Corporate Overclass in America that is a must read for everyone who really is serious about going at the existing order.

I also want to reference a great film on the atrocities committed by the CIA and the corrupt dictators that it installs through violence and maintains with repression by American trained paramilitary death squads in Latin America. I refer to The War On Democracy by Australian investigative journalist John Pilger and the video is available at Information Clearinghouse, an audio adaptation is also available at the wonderful archive site for the weekly radio program Unwelcome Guests. The War On Democracy is as damning an indictment of this blood drenched, murderous empire in all of it’s resplendent foulness and it is essential that as many people as possible see this film, that is how important that it is.

Here is a short list of countries where CIA backed coups and installed blood soaked puppets over democratically elected governments, some countries saw multiple CIA supported overthrows:

Iran, Guatemala, North Vietnam, Hungary, Laos, Haiti, Cuba (the Bay of Pigs failed) Zaire, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Brazil, Indonesia, Greece, Cambodia, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Angola, Afghanistan, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama.

This is the short list because there is non only a history of but ongoing interference in every country that has become a target to be strip mined and saddled with IMF debt that is nothing more than state sanctioned extortion. For further leaning I also recommend two books by John Perkins: Confessions of an Economic Hitman and The Secret History of the American Empire.

Along with the coups came assassinations (far too many to list here) and the Nazi style tactics of torture, murder and repression taught at the School of the Americas. I specifically can say "Nazi" because the CIA mated itself with some of the most repugnant and evil elements of this historically monstrous regime after WW II under the auspices of fighting Communism and in doing so drew heavily on the experience of the myriad of war criminals like Reinhard Gehlen among others. Our current torture state, you see, was built using Nazi DNA so all of those little seemingly coincidental similarities between post 9/11 Amerika and Weimar era Germany are not really just serendipitous happenstance after all. I would strongly suggest than people take a look at the Nazi connections to the powerful and wealthy here in Der Heimat including of course George W. Bush’s grandfather Prescott Bush whose money laundering operation for Hitler was closed down under the Trading With The Enemy Act back in 1942. Of course there is just so much that I don’t want to get into it today and will address it at some time in the future.

Working The Big Con in the Land of Corn

Mike Huckabee looks to bag his share of suckers in Iowa

The Christmas season is finally mercifully over and we can all go back to comfortably hating again. Retailers are nearly finished closing out their Chinese made plastic Santas and inflatable snow globes for pennies on the dollar and consumers are further ensnared by debt for baubles that they don’t need, the wretched bush league Illini defense still hasn’t stopped USC from scoring and the professional grifters are stepping up their activities out n the hustings. The deceitful charlatans are stepping up their move through the breeding beds of suckers in the godforsaken frozen wasteland of Iowa, trolling for the rubes that will largely set the agenda for the selection of the successor to the mockery that is George W. Bush – barring martial law of course. It is just all so fucking surreal as we watch the national pocket media kingmakers turn their focus to the land of corn and the pagan orgy of lies and sublime stupidity where those whose ears are keen enough can just barely detect the death knell of the republic on the icy early January winds out on the plains.


I just absolutely fucking hate electoral politics anymore – I’ll leave that bullshit up to the lame hacks and shills over on the so-called “A list” blogs - it is all such a big con game where the elitists and their corporatist media toadies pull off the magic act of selling charlatans to the masses of asses as though they were pimping any other product. The system as it is has been set up to filter out any candidate who may actually try to change things for the better in regards to the people or to blow up the fucking rotting militarist looter capitalist eat the young empire of greed and blood that the United States has mutated into over the past quarter of a century or so. The permanent campaign finally gets it’s first big test with the voters on Thursday with the Iowa Democratic caucuses leading off the next month or so of the big exhaustively hyped by a media entrusted to stick their fingers in the dike in order to keep the false façade of a sham democracy in a land run by transnational corporations, financial goliaths that specialize in chicanery bordering on outright fraud and the military industrial security complex that exports death and grown tyranny on our home soil. It is what author Peter Dale Scott refers to as “the deep state” and the amoral charlatans who are chosen to be our political ‘leaders’ are merely figureheads for the dark and nefarious forces that really have their claws on the levers of power.

That however is a story for another time so I digress...

The usual barkers and pitchmen have been pimping Iowa as though it were the fucking Super Bowl and of course despite a growing restiveness and awareness that we have all been played for fools Americans will eagerly line up at the bullshit buffet in their naïve and nostalgic longing for a country that long ago passed the demarcation point from any sort of sane society into this my team versus your team, praise Jesus and pass the ammunition, beggared third world debt ridden slave colony where your normal airing of American Idol draws more attention than the democratic process. Hell, they quit teaching anything even remotely resembling civics or history in schools around the time that Dutch Reagan was trying to have fucking ketchup classified as a vegetable for school lunches so could any other result possibly be expected by rational minds? I will give the Bushreich credit for on thing though, it has been so despotic, so controlling, so dishonest, so arrogant and so thoroughly rotten to the core that it (along with the internet) have succeeded in giving away the entire big con game and there is a growing undercurrent of resentment right now in America and it’s soon going to come to a slow rolling boil as the treasonous looters on Wall Street demand that corporations cut more jobs to keep the stock market up for just a little longer. 2008 will see inflation spike due to a Federal Reserve that has been allowed to run amok, playing games to keep their failed laissez faire looter’s paradise ideology which is a house of cards – all jokers that would have been mocked by sane economists prior to the ascension of Reagan and his voodoo economics witch doctors and their crackerjack propaganda apparatus built with the Powell Memorandum as a blueprint.

The ugly truth is that this country is now bordering on third world status and 2008 is going to be a very cruel year, foreclosures will continue as millions of people whose only crime was that they bought into the fraudulent ‘American Dream’ are thrown out of their over mortgaged equity challenged homes in droves. The credit crisis is going to metastasize throughout the entire system as the defaults on those evil little pieces of plastic in everybody’s wallets are going to rise and thanks to the fucking Democrats the bankruptcy laws no longer exist, for all we know the swine are ready to sign off on opening a vast gulag of debtor’s prisons and use slave labor to entice corporations to actually start to make things here again. Of course everything as the media tells you is ok, the economy is robust pay no mind to the Chicken Littles screaming that the sky is falling and that we are entering a recession, hell core inflation is low even if you are paying 3.50 a gallon for gas and upwards of 5 bucks for a gallon of milk. The conditions in America today eerily parallel those leading up to the Great Depression and the bill is coming due posthaste for all those years of living stupidly. A lot of people get this but those who have a vested interest in continuing to squeeze the last drop of blood and last cent of profit out of America need to maintain the illusion for just a little while longer.

I didn’t know whether to laugh or fucking cry after reading a story in the most recent edition of Newsweek magazine lamenting politically active Americans that was ironically entitled The Closing Of The American Mind which incidentally is the name of a book by Chicago school neoconservative ideologue Allan Bloom another disciple of Leo Strauss and a mentor of one Paul Wolfowitz. The piece that I refer to was written by Evan Thomas and starts out “Partisan warriors may love our polarized political culture. Everyone else is turned off and tuning out.” Given the mass feeding frenzy over the upcoming political season and the degenerate horse track gamling junkie treatment it is pretty damned humorous that America's shitrag would roll out this silly little piece of propaganda lamenting the same ultrapartisanship that they didn't see fit to bump their celebrity/health tips swill for when the laissez faire looting machine that fills their coffers wasn't being threatened by the conventional wisdom that we as a nation are getting collectively fucked. I don't exactly recall seeing the establishment hacks and the fishwrap that they used as a forum crying when Tom DeLay's beltway mafia was running it's spoils system.

Anyway, the Newsweek piece goes on to proclaim the following precious nuggets:

There are, as they say, two Americas. There is the America of the rich and the America of the poor, as Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards likes to point out. There is the America of Red States and Blue States, populated, as columnist Dave Barry likes to joke, by "ignorant racist fascist knuckle-dragging NASCAR-obsessed cousin-marrying road-kill-eating tobacco-juice-dribbling gun-fondling religious fanatic rednecks" and "godless unpatriotic pierced-nose Volvo-driving France-loving leftwing Communist latte-sucking tofu-chomping holistic-wacko neurotic vegan weenie perverts."

These divisions seem to grow, and to grow more antagonistic, by the year. But the real divide, the separation that may matter more to the future of American democracy, is between the political junkies and everyone else. The junkies watch endless cable-TV news shows and listen to angry talk radio and feel passionate about their political views. They number roughly 20 percent of the population, according to Princeton professor Markus Prior, who tracks political preferences and the media. Then there's all the rest: the people who prefer ESPN or old movies or videogames or Facebook or almost anything on the air or online to politics. Once upon a time, these people tended to be political moderates; now they are turned off or tuned out.

That Thomas discredits his own arguments in stating that only 20 percent of the population is politically active and that the rest are just gooving on the tube and other distractions is then followed by the incredibly stupid contradiction that voter turnout is in the low 50 percent range in his attempt to somehow paint the 20 percenters as some sort of fringe extremists. But with a 50 percent turnout of the populace aren't the 20 percenters more representative of say at least HALF of voters? And if the later number referenced turns out to be true of only a 30 percent turnout then the politically aware and energized are representative of 2/3 of the electorate - outside the cloistered realms of beltway elitists that is. And Newsweek really doesn't exactly practice what they preach, I seem to recall a recent orgy of self congratulation when the mag announced that they had retained the services of two of the biggest partisan hacks in the fucking country Karl Rove and Markos Moulitsas-Zuniga for commentators during the upcoming 2008 political season....so much for détente .

But back to Iowa where they are selling the one thing that has always been a hot commodity in America – HOPE. As I have already stated I deplore this advance purchase of stolen merchandise being conducted under the façade of legitimacy and pimped ad nauseam by the pocket media kingmakers but I would be a liar if I didn’t admit that I don’t find a bit of sick humor over some of the silly assed story lines coming out of the tall corn state. Queen Clinton is allegedly coming back after being battered back by Barack Obama (who I still strongly suspect is a ringer) along with the help of the great goddess of the weekday afternoon television empire Oprah Winfrey has made a surge to from many accounts pull into a dead heat with Mrs. Rodham-Clinton which in and of itself is impressive. If anyone has pull with the miserable yahoos in Iowa as well as the rest of the feckless weasels, losers and television addicted sheep, her following has a cult like devotion and on any given day if Oprah would tell them to eat a bowl of fresh dogshit at least a third of them would actually do it – and that is a conservative estimate. It offers the establishment a nice hedge against John Edwards too, his reformist, anti-corporate message is the sort that could resonate with people who are forced to choose between heat and meat in the bite ass cold Midwestern winters and once he has been relegated to also ran status along with Manny, Moe and Jack (Biden, Dodd and Richardson) and with Dennis Kucinich already painted as some UFO watching kook who is out in Mel Gibson’s cornfield waiting for the aliens to arrive the fix is likely already in for a Clinton restoration. I also found the references to Obama’s alleged past drug use to be amusing, especially considering all of the blow that flew through Mena, Arkansas while the Clintons were in the governor’s mansion but that is another story for another time. Suffice it to say that the establishment absolutely cannot have a reform minded candidate emerge from the brutal gauntlet of the rigged primary system to even have a legitimate sniff of power in this sordid mess of a country slowly being bled to death by looter capitalism so expect Hillary to be a mile high in Denver come August when the DLC holds it’s convention.

As amusing as the Democrat’s circus may be it is nothing like that of the Republicans who can ALWAYS be counted on to deliver the highest ratings on the freak show scale. The front runner, Il Duce Americano Rudolpho Giuliani is largely bypassing the state and focusing on Super Tuesday, his ghoulish wrapping of himself in 9/11 doesn’t go over very well when a gittar strummin’ preacher like Mike Huckabee is around, at least for now in the land of tall corn. Huckabee has been treated by the punditry like the second coming of Jesus Fucking Christ himself by the knuckle dragging foot soldiers of the ‘Christian’ Right and in something that I find to be quite humorous has in a way become the Republican party Wall Street establishment’s very own Frankenstein monster – after all, they only appeased the mouth breathing buffoons all too willing to put their kids to bed cold and hungry as long as they could wage total war against gays and Darwin but God forbid that a real Jesus juicer would have the audacity to actually occupy the Oval Office. The deceitful charlatans running the game were always in on the joke that George W. Bush was a white knuckle, mean as a snake dry drunk and former cokehead whose words were always betrayed by his deeds and that he would always be counted on to worship the moneychangers when it really came down to it but Huckabee justifiably scares the shit out of these people. I always predicted that the corporatists would one day have to throw against the Raptureheads and theocrats and the huckster from Hope with his populist outsider status worn on his sleeve could just have enough clout with the bible thumpers to be the one future Grand-Führer of the fetus wars who would also bring a bit of the real Jesus into the formula to finally run the moneychangers out of the temple – of course that they would be gassed along with the rest of the liberals, gays, hippies, feminists, Jews, Muslims, blacks and any other less than deserving human is a mere triviality.

Out of all the Hawkeye State bullshit I have to say that the rise of Huckabee who has Texas Walker Ranger Chuck Norris in tow as the real knee-slapper. It far surpasses for sheer over the top value the now resurgent candidacy of the pathetic John McCain who has been endorsed by his longtime warmongering crony Joseph Lieberman who showed up at a recent press event looking like the buttfuck twins clad in identical silly sweaters, the previously mentioned Giuliani hospitalization, the artful dodger and Massachusetts flip-flopper Willard Romney who may or may not believe that the devil was the brother of Jesus and is as slippery as a greased hamster at the annual Bohemian Grove gathering of elite hedonists and sodomites never ceases to amaze with his slickness, the ‘New Reagan’ Fred Thompson is occasionally seen wandering aimlessly and mumbling and just when the war against the brown menace is being stoked by the drooling, gun toting racist GOP freaks Tom Tancredo is nowhere to be found.

But my all time favorite bit of triviality in the runup to January 3rd had to be Huckabee’s utterly shameless Christmas commercial where he appeared with a fucking highlighted cross in the background that was Rovian imagery at it’s finest. The commercial was controversial to say the least but the greatest and most honest comment on this fucking disgrace was delivered by Ron Paul who while being interviewed on FOX let slip that the commercial brought to mind Sinclair Lewis’ classic statement on fascism with his hit it out of the park, spot on assessment that was allegedly supposed to be not a part of the actual interview:

"It reminds me of what Sinclair Lewis once said. He says, 'when fascism comes to this country, it will be wrapped in the flag, carrying a cross.' Now I don't know whether that's a fair assessment or not, but you wonder about using a cross, like he is the only Christian or implying that subtly. So, I don't think I would ever use anything like that."

Fucking Touche! In invoking Sinclair Lewis Paul pegged the entire fucking neocon movement and it’s alliance to the ‘Christian’ goose steppers who have taken the peaceful, loving and critical of wealth and hypocrisy Jesus Christ out of Christianity in favor of the Tim LaHaye/John Hagee version who chortles with righteous glee as he preaches his message of fuck the poor in between missions to drench Muslim children in napalm and white phosphorous and dreaming up plans to herd trainloads of gays into American gas chambers in the name of the great Christian nation. Huckabee is a cross between Lewis' own Elmer Gantry and Andy Griffith's Larry "Lonesome" Rhodes from the 1957 film classic A Face In The Crowd”.

Right The Fuck On! It’s no wonder that guy has crossover appeal and it’s equally obvious why he and Dennis Kucinich are treated as though they have leprosy by the party bosses – they are fucking rightfully horrified that what they are talking about may spread and infect moribund, fat assed Americans with a sense of moral outrage and a the seeds of an idea that maybe if they got their fucking asses off of their sofas and actually raised a bit of hell that things could change for the better.

But in the meantime we have the dog and pony show in Iowa, followed by New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina and whatever dipshit enclave of uninformed and angry fuckheads that are able to be used by the oligarchy to set the pace and give the ‘momentum’ to the bought and paid for future leaders of this sad post 9/11 land of sheep and shame. Iowa is a perfect example of why our political system is so fucked up today, could somebody please explain exactly why that it is that a shitty little Midwestern state with a total population that is less than most major cities is given such importance in the process of choosing a candidate along with it’s inbred northeastern cousin New Hampshire?

Maybe the whole caucus thing is quaint but it’s an anachronism that ill serves the rest of America which as a whole is sure as shit a much more diverse place than two hick states with a whopping total of eleven electoral votes. Quite simply put as the great H.L. Mencken once put it: "No one in this world has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people. Nor has anyone ever lost public office thereby".


Rubes are just easier to fool and it’s always the nature of lemmings to follow.

A Rotting Empire, A Restive Oligarchy and Ron Paul

First off I want to emphatically state that I do not endorse political candidates and this piece should not be interpreted as an endorsement for Ron Paul, rather it is a series of my thoughts on why it is that his popularity continues to grow. I don’t endorse candidates for the simple reason that I always prefer to call out hypocrisy and corruption both of which are plentiful and have gotten to a point where I have developed an extreme distaste for the electoral process itself. I have in the past done a good amount of posting on blogs that wear their party loyalty on their sleeves and while I have generally preferred Democrats I just don’t have the fucking stomach for them anymore either. Besides, I am now and have always been a registered independent although I increasingly am finding myself drawn towards a more libertarian point of view for what should be obvious reasons. I have nearly always voted Democrat for the sole reason that it is the lesser of two evils but goddammit it I am sick and tired of voting for an evil at all and we all should start to demand more rather than just the newest versions the same indecent and dishonest shits who adorn the ballot while men of ideals and merit are cast aside by the media and big money but more on that later. I would absolutely have to concur with the used and then abused Cindy Sheehan in her excellent column The 'Fix' where she calls a spade a spade because let’s face it, when CNN is rigging debates in favor of Hillary Clinton to the extent that Brent Budowsky is able to say with total accuracy that:



And I might add when such a ‘debate’ is mediated by former AIPAC lobbyist and well known establishment lackey Wolf Blitzer while Nosferatu lookalike and veteran Clinton operative James Carville is given any cred at all as an impartial analyst then indeed the fix is in.

I do not happen to agree at all with many of Ron Paul’s domestic policy ideas although I am vehemently against the wars both at home and abroad. They are wars that the Democrats played the base and independents as fools by promising to bring the troops home and put a halt to the Bush-Cheney junta's war against the Constitution and then reneged once they were given control of Congress by suckers like us who they are now playing for fools once again. As with most others sickened by the betrayal of the jackass party as well as their marginalizing of progressives like Dennis Kucinich, mavericks like Mike Gravel and their keeping John Edwards on a short leash lest all of the loss of dignity, the death, the misery and the rank stupidity of the last seven years be in vain. You just can't sacrifice all that has been sacrificed for the miserable ambitions of one woman and her reprobate husband to be impeded so close to the finish line. I often wonder how much the soon to be queen's relentlessness has contributed to the pathetic and embarassing reign of Harry Reid who has presided over Hillary's temple of eunuchs lest a stronger personality intrude on her limelight, the fecklessness of the Congress as well as the shank that they planted in the backs of the antiwar base has greatly contributed to my current state of anger and disenfranchisement. The failure of the Democrats to function as an effective opposition party is perhaps as big a contributor to Paul's surge as anything else and he would end these fucking wars.

I also think that Paul’s criticism of the Federal Reserve system has a good deal of merit because the more that I learn about it the more it appears to be nothing more than a great big Ponzi scheme but that is a very long and convoluted topic that I will have to address at another time in order to do it with the justice that it deserves. For those interested in The Fed there is plenty of material out there that exposes this foul pseudo governmental entity that was set up through subterfuge, has been shrouded in secrecy since it’s inception and was chaired for nearly two decades by Ayn Rand cultist Alan Greenspan. ‘Greenie’ was initially canonized by Wall Street and the looter society spawned by Reagan as some sort of iconic figure and financial mystic but now that all of the elaborate scams are beginning to come unraveled. Now the dollar is dropping like Newton’s Law of Gravity and the ugly little truth that America’s manufacturing capability has been reduced to assembling Big Macs and Whoppers, rampant speculation and moving nonexistent money around and erecting a surveillance state while our top export is death and suffering courtesy of the Halliburtons, Blackwaters and other blood barters of the world is beginning to dawn on all but the most moronic and those whose sole mission in life is to sniff Brittney Spears’ panties (metaphorically of course). It's time to reform this entire fucking putrid system and for the first time a lot of people are starting to get it that nothing else will suffice.

I am a loyal American and a patriot who loves the country but despises the fucking fascist assholes running it and is horrified at the ongoing gutting of our great constitution, the transformation of the corporate media into an arm of a government run amok and the extremely dangerous and foolish ideology that is neoconservatism and I find common ground with Ron Paul on all of these. He also gave the most impressive speech condemning the neocons that I have yet to hear from an elected politician and it was in 2003 (transcript) when most of this bullshit could still have been avoided. Paul's brilliant response to the huffing and puffing indignant shithead Rudolph Giuliani during the FOX dog and pony show 'debate' in South Carolina when he dared to suggest that 9/11 was a result of our misguided foreign policy and the resultant blowback stood out for his sheer audacity to not be one of the rich white guys invoking Jack Bauer and trying to out Nazi each other. Paul stood his ground and when the show was over calmly offered up a reading list for the American Il Duce and 9/11 fear pimp. It was classic and stunning if only for the simple reason that none of the other corporate products being groomed for the top slot would dare to utter anything so close to the truth. This was the exact moment that Ron Paul went from obscurity to a factor and it was all due to him standing up like a pre 9/11 American and speaking the truth to power.

That being said I want to take a look at the so-called Ron Paul phenomenon that has the oligarchy scared shitless to the point where their attack dog propagandists like dimestore demagogue Glenn Beck are sent out to make the disturbing allegations that Paul supporters are dangerous anarchists and potential ‘terrorists’ along the lines of one Timothy McVeigh. At the same time in a two-pronged attack on dissent elected officials with a history of questionable loyalty (namely AIPAC whore Jane Harman) who also has deep involvement with the foulest elements of the defense industry are furiously working to pass legislation enabling them to develop a very loose definition of what constitutes terrorism that in essence borders on Pre-Crime as portrayed in the movie Minority Report. This is an extremely dangerous piece of legislation that should not be taken lightly by anybody who values the concept of free speech, free association and the ability to read and write what one chooses but while the mainstream media jerks the public off once again with the ridiculous ‘newest developments’ in the Natalee Holloway saga (Jesus Fucking Christ, what’s next, an exhuming of Laci and the fucking fetus?) they are entirely silent on this latest egregious attempt to shut down what was once a free and open society.

Harman's demon child which is formally called H.R. 1955 - Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 was recently addressed by Amy Goodman on Democracy Now and is correctly seen outside of the pocket press as the grave threat to freedom that it truly is. It has already sailed through the House of Hoyer and Pelosi by a 404-6 vote and will surely be passed in the Senate where it conveniently will be taken up by that treacherous little fish-faced pigfucker Joe Lieberman’s Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. This is nothing less than a blatant attempt to crackdown on activists, bloggers and truth seekers whose relentless probing is only beginning to expose the extent that the entire fucking United States government and a media that has been thoroughly infiltrated by moles has become a snakepit without a bottom. I would strongly recommend checking out Indypendent for Jessica Lee’s fine article on this serious attempt to destroy America from within entitled Bringing the War on Terrorism Home: Congress Considers How to ‘Disrupt’ Radical Movements in the United States and taking appropriate action to educate everyone possible on the ramifications of allowing this latest plank of an authoritarian police state to be cemented into place – even if it is holiday shopping season and there is football to watch – that being sardonic humor on my part, this is serious fucking business.

Honestly I don’t know what the meatheads, pollsters, party moguls and rank political whores don’t understand about the appeal of GOP (in name only) dark horse candidate Ron Paul. He is for the Constitution and against the wars and rather than the normal business as usual horse trading, backstabbing, triangulating and dicking around that keeps continually inept dipshit Democratic party beltway elitist consultants like Bob Schrum employed despite their epic history of incompetence perhaps it’s time for someone in the jackass party to get a fucking clue before the 2008 election goes up in their hand like the same flaming bag of dogshit that their overpaid clown strategists keep handing to them in a perverse reenactment of Groundhog Day and given the arrogant way that they have treated their real base in basically saying “fuck you, we’re not ending the war” and allowing George W. Bush wide latitude in destroying the country I would not count on them turning out again for more of the same. Republicans can always mobilize the knuckle dragging denizens of peckerwood nation, the Raptureheads and the pathological haters and racists but they work hard at appealing to the brainless and the dumb, liberals and progressives are actually able to think and many of them are beginning to think that the entire system is one big con designed only to keep a façade of false legitimacy plastered across the front of the whorehouse.

The Democrats are to the Republicans what the Washington Generals were to the Harlem Globetrotters and Ron Paul is a threat to a putrefying system just as Ross Perot was back in 1992 when he essentially stopped the Bush dynasty dead in it’s tracks at least for a short period, and Perot was spot on about the disaster of NAFTA, the great David Sirota weighs in on this in his latest piece. Paul though is a far bigger menace to the existing order as the Bush restoration gave rise to the neeocons, tripped the latch for the Wall Street pigs and financial hucksters to be loosed and the junta has gone to work on eliminating the constitution all facilitated by a unified force field projected by a pocket media hellbent on preserving the poisonous status quo at all costs. People are much more angry now than in 92, the system itself is on the brink of collapse, wars are engulfing the planet, the dollar is worth jack shit and the technological advances that gave us the internet have allowed for many to become educated as never before to the criminality of it all.

Granted that the majority of moron America stays glued to their beloved televisions dooling over lemming food and addicted to the accompanying mental masturbation but there really are millions out there working the net, reading and rebelling. They are also coming to the conclusion that the Democrats are thoroughly corrupt, to the extent where ‘debates’ are rigged in favor of the oligarchy’s queen in waiting who will only continue the policies of Bush, a change agent who pushed it to the wall and now a more moderate face is brought in to drive the war machine but the ultimate goal remains the same - keep the wars going, implement the police state and protect the ruling elite. The Clintons know all too well how the game works. Bill was a disciple of Carroll Quigley whose massive historical tome Tragedy and Hope spoke of the real movers and shakers, the men behind the curtain or as the father of public relations Edward Bernays once correctly tagged them: "Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country".

A critical thing to take into account is that the Bushreich has been so extreme and the toady Democrats so abominable that the whole fucking game is now becoming exposed, the ball of string is now unraveling and the big onion being peeled with each layer being worse than the one preceding it. The internet has done the oligarchy and the criminals that it employs in governments immense damage by allowing for their long history of covert ops, drug running, assassinations, hostile takeovers of countries and the accompanying slaughter of 'leftists', market rigging and in the case of 9/11 a coup d'etat piggybacked on top of terrorist attacks. The transformation of the media into a propaganda arm of the octopus has actually to a large degree backfired with more people reading more, networking and digging deeper, technology has at least for the time leveled the playing field a bit but as Harman’s decidedly anti-American bill shows they are rapidly working to beat back the threat of an informed and agitated populace. They can criminalize whatever the fuck they choose to but the truth of the matter is that you just can't put the toothpaste back into the tube and more people are losing faith in these corrupt bitches and bastards by the day. They are going down and no amount of slanderous inference or reckless legislation to criminalize free speech is going to stop them. The United States is being methodically and incrementally dragged to the precipice of the abyss of fascism and I would stongly recommend reading Naomi Wolf's excellent analysis of this in this Guardian article which is examined in greater depth in her new book The End Of America: Letter Of Warning To A Young Patriot and finally there is some pushing back against the neocon juggernaut and their Vichy appeasers in the Judas Democrat party over their sad legacy of feckless appeasement.

so In a nutshell the complete failure of the American political system is what fuels the Ron Paul machine and it transcends traditional definitions of who can and should be allowed to be allies. The recognition that tt’s all one great big fucking sham, a rigged game of 3 card monte on the main drag of a Potemkin village of a legitimate democracy that masks a globalist, corporate and militarist agenda that will now rest until billions have been beggared, enslaved and left for dead. Justin Raimondo of the outstanding Antiwar.com hits the target dead center with this from a recent column on Dr. Paul's popularity entitled Why Are They So Afraid Of Ron Paul?:


I find that the truly exciting thing about Ron Paul’s popularity is that we are now witnessing a nascent movement that actually has the potential to grow into a political force to be reckoned with. Shit, this is all beautiful to me. I grew up in the Seventies when questioning authority was in vogue and I couldn’t be more revolted at this sick joke of an era and the line-dancing over the cliff of legions of ass-sniffing lemmings. It is an amazing experience when I am mocked by co-workers and family members for daring to try to explain how our very ability to make a living is imperiled by the massive fraud of the subprime scams, globalization, endemic greed on Wall Street and a falling dollar but the same people engage in endless banter about every bit of triviality and minutia regarding the lives of Paris, Brittney, The Donald or whatever other example of what one should aspire to be happens to be pimped by the corporate media on any given day. Stupidity and apathy have become so entrenched that it is only natural that the oligarchy is justifiably horrified at those who have escaped their trap and now are screaming BULLSHIT at the top of their lungs. So just fuck Oprah and Dr. Phil and all of the rest of the virtual zoo keepers pimping preposterous folderol over the electronic crackpipe that is designed to keep the public pacified and dumb as Dylan once sang "the masters make the rules for the wise men and the fools" and there sure as fuck is no shortage of the latter in George W. Bush's post 9/11 wasteland of dumbness, decadence and desperation.

Part Two - The Golden Rule: ALWAYS kill the messenger:

Ron Paul’s crossover appeal absolutely horrifies the ruling class, his anti-abortion views are unbelievably based on principle (a career obstetrician) rather than any sort of religious hokum or political expedience. God forbid that the one great mobilizing issue that cements the bogus left-right paradigm that has fucked this country up for the past forty years be treated in a way that is less than sacrosanct for it has proven to be a useful holy grail in preserving the power of the elitists and the establishment. The rarest of bipartisan alliances is starting to percolate upwards through the corporatist media and it is an all out effort to stop Ron Paul in his tracks. Dennis Kucinich was easy prey with the killshot delivered by beltway hack Tim Russert that reduced the anti-war Democrat to just another loon babbling about UFO’s. They distorted the audio for the now famous “Dean Scream” to kneecap outsider Howard Dean in 2004, Mike Gravel was terminated with extreme prejudice and war critics are affixed with devil horns and castigated for being dangerous anarchists and leftists who worship at the altar of Karl Marx.

The entire fucking fascist movement has been built on the back of overturning Roe V. Wade and yet despite total extreme right-wing Republican control of every fucking branch of the government right after the hapless Democrats were spanked in 2004 it never even came close to being wiped from the slate. With a fanatic blood sucking little tick like Tom DeLay who seriously believed in the eradication of the existing system, a stranglehold on power in the Presidency, the Judiciary and the Congress, a braying horde of theocratic brownshirts who were foaming at the mouth to avenge Terri Schiavo it should have been dead certain that abortion be outlawed and that the death penalty applied (some have suggested by stoning) to physicians who would provide such services. Yet it didn’t happen for if it did it would be the equivalent of a large bucket of water on a smoldering fire, starving a movement of its energy, depriving the simpleton counter revolution of their raison d'etre and removing the biggest sideshow issue of modern times and this could not be allowed to happen under ANY circumstances because Christ only knows the aversion that the dummies and the angry army and the peckerwoods have to actually taking a look at the REAL issues that really affect their lives.

And Paul is in their sights now, it will be a brutal triangulation of crossfire already blessed by an oligarchy growing increasingly restive as the internet slowly and methodically exposes them as the murdering, blood thirsty parasites that they truly are. Once Paul is taken down then the queen in waiting will have a clear path, Hell the red carpet has already been rolled out and the ‘debates’ are just stagecraft to sell our sham democracy to the suckers. The nasty character assassinations of Paul and his followers are now everywhere as phase two of Gandhi's famous proclamation of “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win” has ended and phase three has begun with a vengeance.

As I previously mentioned the insipid baby faced Beck who prior to his ascendance to CNN house propagandist was a third rate local loser shock jock who specialized in such matters of grave import as sponsoring eating contests took point in launching the smear campaign along with the flipped Marxist that is America's "I HATE YOU" troll David Horowitz, a fanatical fulminating bag of shit who in any decent society would be just another rote piss reeking miscreant standing on a streetcorner braying his nonsensical diatribes from atop a soapbox but he is given credibility here as some sort of authority and his crusade to promote the 'Nazification' of the American eductional system.

Horowitz, a shriekingly shrill textbook example of a reactionary anti-American douchebag even went so far as to suggest that Paul’s supporters along with the great libertarian blog Lew Rockwell and the usual whipping boy liberals are actually in bed with Islamofascists - that little nonsensical term created in some reich wing think tank to pimp the war of civilizations and to lump all of the enemies of that shitty little paranoid country Israel in together with one great little marketing phrase. They even found the term “Ron Paul Revolution” to be indicative of terrorism, typically the hypocritical bastards give no mention to either “The Reagan Revolution” or Newt Gingrich’s “Republican Revolution” as the vicious assaults on American values that they have proven to be. Fortunately there are some principled bloggers like Glenn Greenwald who are out there debunking the attacks that are coming from the poisoned arrows of both sides seeking to preserve their monopoly on power.

Beck and Horowitz labelled Paul supporters as potential domestic terrorists because of the massive success of the Money Bomb fund raising drive on Guy Fawkes Day that sent tremors of fear through the establishment. Fawkes is mainly known to Americans from his significant presence in the movie V For Vendetta and as the saying goes “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” and those who control the media, the government and set the agenda also are free to label any dissenters as terrorists which is exactly what was intended with all of the tyrannical infrastructure built up with 9/11 as a justification. Paul’s supporters have scheduled their big next fund raising drive to coincide with the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party so you can be certain that the media mockingbirds will be working harder than hell at finding a way to label the American revolutionaries and by extension the founding fathers as terrorists of sort. Hell, you already see what kind of festering disdain that they have for the Constitution or as no less an authority than Emperor Bush himself once referred to it “a goddamned piece of paper”.

The distinction that isn’t made is that state sponsored terrorism – which can be called war and includes the murder of innocent civilians is not recognized by the pocket media shills for neoconservative world domination. Firebombing Dresden or Tokyo, razing Fallujah, mercs and soldiers raping and gunning down civilians in Baghdad and the soon to be launched bombing of Tehran are by definition ALL acts of terrorism only they are in most cases condoned by the state. America also has a long sordid history of propping up terrorist regimes in Latin America who used death squads and were trained to torture at what was formerly known as the School of the Americas all to protect corporate interests and the right of the rich to exploit the poor. Author Naomi Klein’s excellent new book The Shock Doctrine gets into this but there is far more out there showing exactly how the deplorable ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’ used at Abu Ghraib and Gitmo were already embedded in the empire’s DNA. Terrorism according to the definition doesn’t even actually require violence. According to the Miriam Webster dictionary terrorism is defined as:

: the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion


Which of course would make George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Glenn Beck, David Horowitz, Bill O’Reilly and every other scum neocon who repeatedly invokes fear as a means of control are by their own loose definition: terrorists. This being said once the people are able to regain control of the institutions of government and the courts every last one of them should be tried under the provisions of their own PATRIOT Act and other vile decrees that have codified the use of Gestapo style tactics in Der Homeland. Hoist the bastards on their own petards and punch all of their one way tickets to Gitmo.

But I once again digress...

The most withering of fire of course comes from the neocons themselves who would be pathetic were they not so dangerous. By viciously attacking Ron Paul and libertarians with such intensity the neocons have blown their entire liberals as fake devils con job and made it pretty damned apparent that it is liberty itself that they so despise. Per Justin Raimondo in his most recent column What Antiwar Activists Have To Be Thankful For:

The neocon meme is now firmly ensconced in the American political consciousness as a term of obloquy. Back in 1995, when I first started contributing to this site, hardly anyone had ever heard of this particular "n-word," let alone knew what a "neocon" was: today, the term is ubiquitous. And, contrary to the outraged and wounded cries of the usual suspects, this wave of popular resentment against the icons of Neocon-dom is neither mindless sloganeering nor "bigotry" of any sort. The neocon smear campaign against Paul is at the same time desperate and hilarious in the manufacturing of alleged links to Nazi sympathizers. That the neocons would dare to play the Nazi card against Paul is all too predictable with every over the top out of their fucking minds ideologue shrieking out meaningless tripe that compares Iran to Nazi Germany and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Hitler is reaching the level of gross parody. Their incessant use of Nazi analogies crossed the border into the surreal when the notorious blowhard and bully Alan Dershowitz actually – and I shit you not – invoked the fucking Nazis as justification for an argument advocating the use of torture. This is a stunning how totally fucking batshit and out of sorts that the Israel Lobby has become, blinded by their racism and a pathological desire to launch their own genocidal spree against the Muslim world and willing to use any method possible to slander and destroy any in America who stand in their way. Nutty Norman Podhoretz, Horowitz and all of the moles and fifth columnists from AIPAC to the American Enterprise Institute and their media mockingbirds have flogged the Nazi horse to death. Besides, it is just more of the same illogic and hypocrisy from the fascist poseurs who never could muster up any similar outrage over Prescott Bush’s role as one of Hitler’s top American money men or of the complicity of Wall Street bankers and captains of American industry in helping to build the Nazi war machine or of the hallowed Gipper’s connection to surviving Nazi elements during his rise to the pinnacle of power as the smiling face of apple pie authoritarianism.

Part Three - So It Goes...


Can it be that the usurpers and the moles are getting nervous? The coming AIPAC spy trial, the Sibel Edmonds time bomb that could expose the systemic corruption of the entire fucking U.S. government, the Ron Paul movement and the growing realization by more Americans that their system is rigged and has been rigged for a long time has these despicable rats and traitors now working furiously to ensure that they can use the government as a weapon against it’s own people. In a perverse way I suppose that Leo Strauss was right in believing that a liberal society held the seeds of it’s own destruction and would give way to tyranny and repression. It was the very liberal belief that fifth columnists with anti-American agendas were somehow entitled to eat away at the pillars of this country from within and were entitled to the same rights to free speech that others were, this in retrospect was wrong-headed and destructive and is what has set America on it’s current trajectory spinning off into darkness along the fascism arc. In reality the fifth columnists, the moles and their propagandists should have been ridiculed, shunned and marginalized instead of being allowed to shift the discourse first through the Powell Memorandum and then the think tanks.

People are catching on now and it must be stopped at all costs, the establishment will now start to close ranks and in a rare bipartisan manner circle the wagons so as to protect their corrupt spoils system. Their disdain for the concept of America has become blatant, their dismantling of the Constitution and of the social safety net is criminal and their attempts to scurrilously invoke the Hitlerian tactics of labeling dissenters as terrorists is treasonous. This country was founded on rebellion and borne out of the blood of a revolution against tyranny, one should take the time to read that inconvenient (in today's context) document Declaration of Independence that proclaims that life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is an American birthright:

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Seems to me that the governed are no longer rolling over and offering their consent because now more so than ever is the time to fight the future. Perhaps the Ron Paul movement will eventually turn into something that will ultimately attract enough of the disenfranchised to form the basis of a counter-revolution against a corrupt oligarchy and it's bought and paid for servants. Ron Paul like any other man is nothing to the establishment, he is but a fly in the ointment and he can and will be squashed when the time comes for an electronic assassination in the same corporate media that took out Ross Perot, Ralph Nader and Howard Dean before him whose messages represented a threat to the existing order – the machine has become far more sophisticated since it became a necessity to eliminate JFK, RFK and MLK who were all simply shot by a deranged lone gunman who could then be made into a patsy and business went on as usual.

That Paul has no chance of winning the Republican nomination is irrelevant, what does matter is the spark may have been provided to a moribund and marginalized antiwar majority that is capable of catching fire to something much bigger. There is an oligarchy threatening, paradigm smashing crossover appeal attached to this that along with a largely disenfranchised electorate are a potentially volatile mix because such ingredients are necessary for the creation of a mass movement. As I referenced in my previous posting entitled The Antiwar Movement Needs A New Playbook Scott Ritter laid out the blueprint for an antiwar coalition backed by a drive for a restoration to constitutional values and the Ron Paul Revolution taps into this. I don't think that I need to remind anyone of what can come out of failed presidential campaigns, look at what LBJ's smashing of Barry Goldwater led to or for that matter the political power that was built using the mailing list from Pat Robertson's failed run in 1988. This is a similar scenario which if left to grow will ultimately become a very serious threat to the ruling oligarchy, the looters and the blood barters and their global criminal enterprise.

As the protagonist in the aforementioned V For Vendetta so eloquently put it “Ideas Are Bulletproof” and I might add they are contagious as well.

Paul has become the equivalent of a rock star among the young, and his appeal goes way beyond the usual libertarian crowd: liberals and conservatives, all races and cultural types, from home-schooling Christians to San Francisco pagans and everything in between. On the Internet, and in the streets, the Ron Paul Revolution, as his followers have dubbed their movement, is taking off.

Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, Bill Richardson and Dennis Kucinich have close to a hundred years of significant government experience and very significant things to say about the campaign, but have been treated in these debates like the opposition to Vladimir Putin are treated in the state-controlled Russian media.

It is a disgrace and a sham and a disrespect not only to those candidates but to the very idea of an informed citizenry choosing our next leader in a democratic election.
